Margit House is a great example of modern architecture & new design interiorism in Marbella.
A villa following the basic principles of the 20th century architecture. Minimal spaces and landscape integration were the basic lines for this design. The display of different volumes is the response to the topography of the site, which is clearly seen also inside the building. Each different space stands out with its own different level.
This single-family house is fully defined by pure lines, straight or curved. Even doors have hidden hinges and no frames around them, so the design concept is applied on every detail. Another example of pure, minimal architecture, but keeping a close relationship with the surrounding natural landscape, enhancing it by contrast.
For getting such big open spaces, we designed a special structure so that it didn’t interfere with the architecture. We had to solve a span of 7 meters in the sitting room, as well as its corner, where two glass panels meet with no hint of structure. The curved glass of the main bedroom allows to get a full panoramic view, even from the bed, including the coastline of Marbella and even Gibraltar at the far end.
